Printing Techniques
At Last Minute T-shirt Printing, we offer all the most popular garment printing techniques. We are confident that you will find the most suitable technique for your brand with us. We provide options for both small orders and bulk T-shirt printing, perfect for personalised gifts or company needs such as networking events or branded staff uniforms.
Screen Printing
Since the 1950s T-shirt Screen Printing has meant the process of making a stencil for a design, piece of artwork, or logo, then placing it in a silk mesh screen, and finally rolling a squeegee over the screen to push ink onto a desired garment. A different screen is required for each color in the design, which may lead to setup costs. These set-up costs can accumulate quickly and be expensive so we recommend this method for orders of 25 items or more, especially if your design includes multiple colors.

Embroidery
T-shirt Embroidery offers a long-lasting and professional finish at a reasonable price. It’s a brilliant option for creating a quality club or business brand identity by branding employee uniforms or corporate workwear. Embroidery can be applied to virtually any garment using computerised embroidery machines. A design may need altering to achieve the best quality result. Large embroidered badges can be costly.
All designs to be embroidered must be digitised or made into a suitable file format for embroidery machines. This process also produces a stitch count, which determines the cost of the embroidery job.
DTG Printing
DTG Printing UK is the latest technology in the garment printing industry, offering full-color prints on T-shirts and non-textile items. This method uses highly sophisticated digital inkjet printers to print directly onto dark and light garments and non-textile items. DTG is perfect for short-run orders and multicolored designs because it does not require the set-up costs incurred by Screen Printing. The durability of the print is not as excellent as with Screen Printing but the difference is negligible. We always recommend DTG for small volume jobs (25-50 units) and even with larger run quantities with very detailed designs that would prove to be uneconomical with Screen Printing.

Transfer Printing
Transfer Printing places the design directly on top of the garment, resulting in sharper and more vibrant images. This method ensures that the base color of the garment does not interfere or affect the design, maintaining the clarity and brightness of the print. One of the standout advantages of Transfer Printing is its cost-effectiveness, especially for low-quantity orders, as it requires no setup charges and allows for intricate, all-over prints.
